Candle Care + Safety

The first time you light your candle, let it burn for at least 2-3 hours to allow the melted wax to reach the end of the container on all sides, as this will prevent tunneling. Always trim wicks to 1/4’’ before lighting (preferably with a wick trimmer). Follow the three foot rule and don't place a burning candle near anything flammable. Place candles on a stable, heat resistant surface. Keep lit candles away from any drafts or fans. Never leave a burning candle unattended. For additional safety, candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. Discontinue use when 1/4 inch of wax remains in the container.

When using natural ingredients without additives and dyes some natural color variation may occur. It is normal for soy wax to slightly frost. It should also be noted that all candles, regardless of the wax used, may experience "wet spots" due to variations in temperature and its effect on wax expansion and contraction. This is completely normal and will not affect the performance or integrity of your candle.
